Resolved -
We have reenabled our IX transit and our sessions with peers are restored. Based on the information received, it sounds like the issue was due to equipment failure on the DE-CIX end. Thank you for your patience as we worked through this issue!

Identified -
We are still awaiting official word, however it appears that there are multiple peers connected to the same switch as us that are also down, so there appears to be some issue that has affected multiple networks.

Investigating -
We are seeing a loss of connectivity to DE-CIX Chicago, however our router as well as our non-IX transit are still functional. We are not rerouting traffic at this time, although there could be slightly degraded performance due to loss of direct peering with some networks.
We are unaware of the cause at this time and are awaiting further info.
