Scheduled - We will be conducting regularly scheduled infrastructure updates at this time. Non-Anycast CDN services as well as ZephyrGuard tunnels will have a brief downtime for service restarts. Petalpost mail clients will experience a brief downtime as we restart services on our primary mail host, however our secondary mail hosts will receive any inbound mail during this time.

Updates to our virtualization and routing infrastructure are included in this round of updates, which will result in a slightly longer period of inaccessibility for services hosted inside our on-premise environment.

Calliope Outage
Resolved - This incident has been resolved.

Monitoring - The provider has resolved the issue and things appear to be back. We are monitoring for stability.

Identified - The upstream provider for Calliope is reporting an outage and we are currently unable to access the machine. This is affecting all web sites not on the Anycast CDN.

Tertiary MX Upgrade
Completed - Scheduled maintenance has been completed. Thanks for your patience! If your DNS records are not managed by us, and you haven't already, please update your 3rd MX record to penrose.petalpost.kazehana.io.

Verifying - We've completed the upgrade and cleaned up a few legacy configurations while we were at it. We are running a few more additional tests to make sure everything is operating normally, but the tertiary MX is available once again. We will keep the maintenance period open until 1:30am ET to allow DNS TTLs to expire.

Update - We've started the process of reinstalling the tertiary MX. Mail continues to flow via our primary MX and can fall back to the secondary in the event of any issues.

Scheduled - We will be upgrading our tertiary MX at this time. There will be no anticipated impact to mail flow as our primary MX will be operating normally, and our secondary MX will remain in service to handle any problems with the primary MX.

There will be a DNS change required for this maintenance, as communicated prior. The 3rd MX record for any domains we do not manage will need to be updated to penrose.petalpost.kazehana.io. We will update all records on managed domains during the maintenance.

The record change will need to be completed within 24 hours of the conclusion of the maintenance, as we will remove the old record under notfurprofit.org.

On-Prem Routing Issues
Resolved - Everything appears stable.

Monitoring - The route withdrawal appears to have resolved the problem. We are monitoring for stability.

Identified - We are seeing issues with routing for the on-premise environment, seemingly related to Hurricane Electric. We are going to withdraw routes from HE transit to see if the situation improves.
